Donation Site for Ukrainian Refugees in the Republic of Moldova
In 2022, following the situation in Russia and Ukraine, many refugees fled from Ukraine to neighboring Moldova. Hearing that this was straining the economy of Moldova, known as the poorest country in Europe, REM's CEO Wada obtained permission from the Embassy of Moldova and built a dedicated donation site in a single day.
Thanks to everyone's support, a total of about JPY 260 million was donated directly to the Embassy of Moldova and reached Ukrainian refugees on the ground. Thank you very much. The donation site was closed in 2025.
